The UN has launched a US$2 billion coordinated global humanitarian response plan to fight Covid-19 in vulnerable countries to protect millions of people and stop the virus from circling back around the globe, see here.

WHO and its partners are seeking financing for PPE for frontline health workers, equipment for diagnostic laboratories, strengthened supply chains and R&D of vaccines. Therefore, a new covid-19 fund has been launched to raise money to help countries respond to the Covid-19 pandemic. The fund, the first-of-its-kind, enables private individuals, corporations and institutions anywhere in the world to directly contribute to global response efforts. See here.
